“BoardPro have simplified the process and helped make us look more professional too.”
Chief Executive, Rural Health Alliance Aotearoa New Zealand
With a large team of board members (fourteen in total) and all of them living in various rural locations around New Zealand, remoteness is a major challenge for the Rural Health Alliance Aotearoa New Zealand (RHAANZ) board. Typically, they meet face-to-face only once or twice a year with meetings instead held via phone conference and, more recently, video conference.
By nature of their remote location, RHAANZ board members don’t always have reliable internet access and accessing emails with large files attached can be difficult. So it’s no surprise that having one central repository is one of the main benefits RHAANZ has experienced so far.
“Having one point everyone can access – from anywhere – has made things much easier and more efficient” says Chief Executive Michelle Thompson, who also fulfills the role of Board Administrator for the organisation. “Members can log in to BoardPro at any time and download the board pack in advance, so even if they don’t have internet on the day they can still download everything they need to participate in the meeting.”
Another standout for Michelle is the simplicity of preparing the board pack now. “I really enjoy the ease of which you can put together a board pack. BoardPro have simplified the process and helped make us look more professional too.”
Add to this BoardPro’s unique pricing model for charitable organisations and other not-for-profits and it’s easy to see why the RHAANZ board are loving BoardPro so much!
